Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Maryland to support mission-critical government projects. You will deploy applications, manage infrastructure, and ensure system performance across Linux/AWS environments with Docker Swarm, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform and Ansible.

Applicants must have 15+ years of related experience, a TS/SCI w/Poly clearance, and US citizenship, with a rotating pager on-call schedule and optional telework per project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline required.
• 15+ years of related experience.
• Strong DevOps background to deploy applications, install and configure complex software, manage network servers and technology tools.
• Security clearance TS/SCI w/Poly; US citizenship required.
• Experience with Linux, AWS, Docker Swarm, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, VM provisioning, and distributed web applications.

Responsibilities

• DevOps Engineer role supporting mission-critical government projects.
• Deploy applications, install and configure software, manage servers and tooling, monitor performance and troubleshoot outages.
• Work on modernization efforts to converge authoring and dissemination tools for the customer.
