Job summary

Core Interface is seeking a DevOps Engineer to bridge Linux infrastructure and application development, building tools, pipelines, and processes that speed software delivery for mission-critical federal programs.

You will manage CI/CD and monitoring with Jenkins, SonarQube, and Nagios, support standard developer environments, and collaborate across development and infrastructure teams while holding an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Hands-on DevOps experience including building, deploying, and operating software.
• Broad understanding of DevOps tools and technologies.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and monitoring tools (Chef, Nagios, Ansible, Salt).
• Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.
• Clear communication across development and infrastructure teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary interface between the Linux infrastructure team and application development teams.
• Build and maintain tools to manage and automate deployment activities.
• Maintain standard servers and services for application development teams.
• Support and administer CI/CD and monitoring tools including Jenkins, SonarQube, and Nagios.
• Manage COTS tools that support development workflows (e.g. JIRA).
