Job summary

NorthHill Technology is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support a Federal Program in Springfield, VA. The role requires TS/SCI clearance and offers direct-hire placement with sponsorship for CI Poly within the first year.

You will join the CORE team, automating deployments, building scalable On-Prem and cloud infrastructures, and enforcing security while improving reliability and cost-efficiency across development, test, and production environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant DevOps experience.
• Experience with cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
• CI/CD pipeline implementation using GitLab or similar.
• Strong scripting in Python, Bash, and Shell.
• Knowledge of network technologies and security practices.
• Ability to work unsupervised and manage time effectively.
• Experience with deploying On-Prem infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Automate and optimize service deployments.
• Integrate with enterprise authentication services.
• Monitor security and system reliability across environments.
• Architect and maintain On-Prem and cloud infrastructure.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Lead security and access control initiatives.
• On-call support as needed.
• Collaborate with A&A teams on security requirements.
