Job summary

NorthHill Technology Resources seeks a DevOps Engineer in Springfield, VA to design and maintain DecSecOps architecture for federal programs. You will implement CI/CD pipelines across Dev, Staging and Production, manage infrastructure as code, and ensure security compliance.

A TS/SCI clearance is required and sponsorship for CI Polygraph may be provided within the first year. You will work on OpenShift/Kubernetes environments, leverage Helm charts, and collaborate with software teams to deploy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering or related field, or 3 additional years of IT experience.
• 5-8+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift; familiarity with AWS.
• Experience with Helm charts and multi-environment deployments across security domains.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/CircleCI familiarity).
• Knowledge of containers, monitoring, logging, networking and security.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash for tooling; ability to contribute code changes.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain DecSecOps architecture for multiple applications.
• Configure and optimize CI/CD pipelines across environments (Dev, Staging, Production).
• Manage infrastructure as code and deployment configurations.
• Assist with security remediation and ongoing compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with software teams on deployment, testing and security controls.
