Job summary

GRVTY in Herndon, VA is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a fast-paced government-focused program. This role requires TS/SCI clearance and a willingness to obtain a CI polygraph, with extensive work on cloud and on-prem pipelines across Linux-based systems.

You will design and maintain scalable DevOps pipelines, automate cybersecurity workflows, and integrate security tooling into CI/CD while collaborating with software developers and cybersecurity professionals to support mission-critical

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to pass a CI polygraph.
• 5+ years as a DevOps engineer with a related degree.
• Strong programming in Python, Go, Java, C#, or similar.
• Proven cloud experience; Kubernetes and Docker expertise.
• Experience with Terraform/Ansible for IaC and CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.
• Solid scripting in Python, Bash, or similar; Linux admin skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available DevOps pipelines.
• Automate cybersecurity workflows with Python/Go/Java and CI tools.
• Build CLI tools, APIs, and dashboards to improve developer experience.
• Operate Nomad/Kubernetes clusters and workload orchestration.
• Implement IaC with Terraform/Ansible; manage CI/CD with GitLab.
• Configure DNS, monitoring, logs, and performance tuning at scale.
• Integrate security tooling (SAST, SCA, Trivy) into pipelines.
• Remediate vulnerabilities; patch OS and software across VMs.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity to validate evidence for False Positives.
• Maintain release configurations and support agile development teams.
