Job summary

Insightsoftware in Poland is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Azure/AWS.

You will lead CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure deployment, mentor engineers, and collaborate with development teams to optimize performance and security. Remote-friendly, full-time, with strong emphasis on IaC and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Professional DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles
• Production experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud services and resources
• Strong proficiency in at least one scripting language (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, or similar tools)
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and Cloud container services
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, network architecture, and identity management

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to provision and manage Azure resources
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated infrastructure deployment and application release cycles
• Manage Azure/AWS cloud infrastructure including VMs, App Services, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service)/ACS (AWS Kubernetes Service), databases, and networking
• Implement infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using third-party tools such as DataDog.
• Establish and enforce infrastructure security best practices, compliance standards, and disaster recovery procedures
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and promote knowledge sharing across the organization
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot infrastructure issues and optimize application performance
• Lead infrastructure planning and capacity management initiatives; document architecture decisions
