Job summary

insightsoftware is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure. The role emphasizes IaC with Terraform and strong Azure cloud/service experience.

You will lead infrastructure automation initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with development teams to establish best practices for cloud operations. Expect emphasis on security, monitoring, and reliable deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Hands-on Terraform and IaC experience.
• Production experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform to provision Azure/AWS resources.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and release cycles.
• Manage Azure/AWS cloud infrastructure including VMs, App Services, AKS/ACS, databases, and networking.
• Implement infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting (DataDog).
• Establish and enforce security best practices, compliance standards, and DR procedures.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and share knowledge across the organization.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot infra issues and optimize performance.
• Lead capacity planning and document architecture decisions.
