Job summary

Base-2 Solutions, LLC is seeking a senior DevOps Engineer to support the NMEC DOMEX Technology Platform and D3P modernization by designing, deploying, and maintaining a full-stack containerized microservices architecture in a mission-focused engineering environment.

You will deploy and maintain a production big data pipeline on Kubernetes with Elasticsearch, Kafka, and related tooling, while enhancing CI/CD, monitoring, and infrastructure automation in a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience in the field.
• Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD orchestration and GitLab.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
• Cross-functional engineering collaboration in a fast-paced env.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, triage, and maintain a production big data pipeline using Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, and Kafka.
• Enhance CI/CD scripts and DevOps processes.
• Design and support scalable infrastructure including physical and virtualized environments.
• Use Helm to configure Kubernetes deployments.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, architecture, development, security, operations, and integration teams.
• Participate in Agile release planning, scrum of scrums, bug triage, design sessions, and related meetings.
