Job summary

Wonder is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (DevOps) to join the Robotics Software team in Boston. You will design, build, and operate the cloud and edge infrastructure that powers our on-site robotics, collaborating with software engineers to ship reliable features across edge and cloud.

This role requires 3 days in the office weekly at our Charlestown, MA location, with a focus on provisioning, CI/CD, and tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of professional DevOps or Systems Engineering experience.
• Fluency with Linux systems and cloud infrastructure using IaC.
• Strong scripting (Bash, Python) and containerization (Docker).
• Excellent systems and network troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, build, and execute cloud and edge infrastructure for new features.
• Maintain and optimize on-site Ubuntu edge servers using AWS ECS Anywhere, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Support and evolve server provisioning pipelines for imaging and deployment.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines for efficient testing and deployment.
• Collaborate to debug complex network and software issues.
• Design and maintain developer tooling to sustain high velocity.
