Job summary

Wonder is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (DevOps) to join the Robotics Software team in Boston. You will design, build, and maintain cloud and on-site infrastructure, optimize provisioning pipelines, and enhance CI/CD with our software engineering colleagues.

Hybrid work with on-site weeks in Charlestown, MA, and opportunities to shape scalable robotic systems. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in DevOps or systems engineering, strong Linux skills, and experience with IaC tools like Terraform

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (CS/CE).
• 5+ years of DevOps or Systems Engineering experience supporting production.
• Deep Linux expertise with cloud infrastructure via IaC.
• Strong Bash/Python scripting and Docker knowledge.
• Excellent troubleshooting across networks and systems; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, build, and deliver cloud and edge infrastructure to support features and requirements.
• Maintain and optimize a fleet of on-site Ubuntu edge servers using ECS Anywhere, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Advance server provisioning pipelines with Linux imaging and deployment of application stacks.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines for faster, reliable software delivery.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to diagnose and resolve complex network/software issues.
• Create developer tooling to sustain high velocity and reduce friction.
