Job summary

Machina Labs seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our software engineering team and build the infrastructure that powers our robotics manufacturing platform. You will design, scale, and own cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment systems to support our software stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infra roles.
• Strong Azure cloud infrastructure experience.
• Proficient with Linux-based environments.
• Hands-on with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Experience deploying containers with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Familiar with Python or JavaScript for automation.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
• Knowledge of Azure Government or regulated cloud environments.
• Experience with Vault/Consul for secrets management.
• Cost optimization of cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure-based cloud infrastructure across environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated builds, tests, and deployments.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Manage Linux-based systems across development and production environments.
• Support containerized deployments using Docker/Kubernetes.
• Manage secrets, certificates, and authentication across services.
• Implement observability including logging, monitoring, alerting, and tracing.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues; define best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment speed and system performance.
