Job summary

Nationwide IT Services is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to guide teams in refactoring to microservices and implementing DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines. You will deploy and sustain a microservices factory with both COTS and open-source tools across on‑prem and cloud environments.

The role demands SAFe Agile leadership, TDD practices, and hands-on scripting to automate complex tasks. Remote work with federal customer engagement is offered.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree required.
• SECRET clearance eligibility or higher requested.
• SAFe Agile methodology experience for large-scale clients.
• Proven CI/CD strategy and toolchain experience.
• Cloud and on-prem deployments across environments.

Responsibilities

• Guide teams refactoring apps to modern CI/CD pipelines with DevSecOps practices.
• Define architecture for continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring.
• Sustain a microservices factory using COTS and open-source tools.
• Lead DevOps practices and SAFe methods for large client environments.
• Implement automated SDLC tools and pursue TDD practices.
• Engineer deployments on-premises and in the cloud.
• Use scripting to automate repetitive tasks and problems.
