Job summary

Ad Hoc LLC is seeking a senior Infrastructure/DevOps engineer to design, build, and operate a scalable, secure cloud platform for federal civilian clients. This remote role spans nationwide, with collaboration across cross-functional teams and frequent client engagement.

You will automate with Terraform and other IaC tools, implement CI/CD pipelines, enforce security best practices, and guide architectural decisions to deliver reliable, cost-efficient cloud services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Expert knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong DevSecOps skills including security in CI/CD and cloud provisioning.
• Expertise in cloud platforms and cost-management.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate a scalable, secure Cloud platform and its services.
• Automate provisioning via IaC and integrate pipelines for reliability.
• Develop Terraform modules and CI/CD templates for microservices.
• Enhance observability and enforce security and compliance standards.
• Lead and mentor teams, influencing technical decisions for clients.
• Collaborate with partners and stakeholders, and present technical topics.
