FTI Defense is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a mission-driven engineering team supporting DoD, IC, and Federal Government initiatives. The role emphasizes automation, cloud infrastructure, security gates, and scalable CI/CD pipelines across AWS GovCloud and related tools.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance; secret preferred.
• 6+ years of DevOps engineering experience.
• Extensive cloud experience AWS or GovCloud.
• Strong automation and configuration-management background.
• CI/CD pipelines across full software lifecycle.
• Experience embedding security gates into pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build, monitor, and improve automated CI/CD pipelines (ADO/GHA).
• Own IaC end-to-end with Terraform on AWS GovCloud or similar.
• Containerize workloads with Docker and standardize builds.
• Embed security scanning and compliance checks in pipelines.
• Write automation and tooling in Python and TypeScript.
• Establish observability: logging, metrics, tracing, alerts.
• Define deployment standards, tagging, cost controls, and docs.
• Manage source repositories and version-control workflows.
