Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team and scale our public safety platform. You will own CI/CD pipelines, improve observability, and automate infrastructure across AWS/Azure environments.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Platform teams to ensure reliability, security, and high availability while supporting 24/7 on-call rotations. This role offers a remote opportunity within the United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or related infrastructure-focused roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and security.
• Develop, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for builds, tests, and deployments.
• Improve observability with monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Build internal tools and automation to boost developer productivity and efficiency.
• Partner with engineering teams to establish DevOps best practices and reliable deployment workflows.
• Identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks and potential failure points.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation to support production systems.
• Own infrastructure projects contributing to long-term platform health.
