Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build and maintain a reliable, highly available platform that orchestrates microservices for a modernized operational system. The role requires a current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance and a strong background in AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 9+ years of experience or 7+ years with a related Masters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years of professional experience; or 7+ years with a related Master's degree.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code and scripting to automate tasks and provision services.
• Experience patching, hardening, and maintaining compliance of RHEL.
• Install, configure and tune Kubernetes, Docker Compose, Nifi, and cloud-native tools.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab runners and Argo CD.
• Manage AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2/Lambdas/S3/SNS/SQS/Step Functions with Terraform.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively within a team and with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
• Develop and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and ensure system uptime.
• Kubernetes experience with emphasis on EKS/ECS/Fargate.
