Job summary

Erias Ventures seeks a seasoned DevOps Engineer to support the lifecycle of platform architecture, deployment, and debugging for mission-focused applications. You will build release pipelines and maintain CM systems, while leading Agile ceremonies and mentoring teams.

The role requires deep Linux/Windows experience, strong automation, and proficiency with AWS, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and containerized deployments. Partial telework is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Computer Science
• 10+ years in Agile/DevOps environments
• Experience with AWS, Linux, and cloud infrastructure
• Strong scripting and automation skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration

Responsibilities

• Build a release pipeline for fast, safe delivery of critical business software to Production
• Lead Agile ceremonies and participate in planning, grooming, demos and retrospectives
• Automate release deployments across development, test, staging, QA and production stacks
• Set up configuration management with Puppet and Ansible
• Maintain Confluence/Jira and related documentation workflows
• Create and maintain web service infrastructure and deployments
• Analyze service stack and recommend optimizations
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and developers
• Support deployment and operations as needed
• Maintain confidentiality of information processed, stored or accessed
• Leverage Python, Ruby, Perl, and Java as needed
• Apply DevOps/SRE practices and tooling
