Job summary

Global Sports Jobs Limited is seeking a senior DevOps/Software Engineer to design and maintain scalable systems for Unreal Engine game development. You will collaborate with gameplay, backend, and tools teams to improve velocity, stability, and reliability across environments.

You will lead CI/CD, IaC, monitoring, and release governance, while mentoring teammates and promoting automation-driven workflows in a multi-environment setup.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development or DevOps experience.
• 5+ years with CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• 3+ years C++ programming experience.
• 3+ years automation for large-scale or live-service environments.
• Strong scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with Perforce and Git workflows.
• Experience building monitoring/alerting (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, CloudWatch).
• Strong networking, security, and environment isolation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Unreal Engine game clients, backend services, and tools.
• Automate build, deploy, and environment management across Dev, Staging, Production.
• Develop and maintain IaC solutions using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Monitor, diagnose, and resolve build stability, uptime, and environment health issues.
• Eliminate workflow bottlenecks with gameplay, backend, and tools engineers in Unreal Engine.
• Manage version control integrations and stable release cycles.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting for reliability.
• Drive deployment practices, test automation, and release governance.
• Define and track engineering KPIs like build success and MTTR.
