Job summary

Optomi, in partnership with a leading insurance organization, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team in Columbus, OH. This hands-on role focuses on building and improving AWS infrastructure as the organization migrates from on-premises to cloud.

You will design and implement Terraform-based infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, policy-as-code, and operate with DevOps, Security, and Architecture teams while mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud/Infrastructure Engineering or related roles.
• Strong hands-on AWS experience and cloud migration background.
• Experience designing and implementing IaC with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, build, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform and IaC.
• Translate architecture requirements into scalable, working infrastructure.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and maintain policy-as-code and governance practices.
• Automate manual infrastructure, deployment, and operational processes.
• Lead DevOps and infrastructure projects from planning to implementation.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with Security, Architecture, and Cloud teams.
