Job summary

Blue Coding is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to modernize a US client’s infrastructure by migrating on‑prem systems to a cloud-native, serverless setup on AWS, and to automate CI/CD pipelines and deployments.

You will work with development teams to implement IaC using Terraform, manage resources with Docker/Kubernetes, and ensure security and reliability across environments while communicating clearly with teammates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on DevOps experience.
• 5+ years in a DevOps role within software organisations.
• Proven experience with AWS services and cloud migration projects.
• Extensive experience with CI/CD tools, Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Strong Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication and availability during workday.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Nice to have: MLOps/DataOps experience and AWS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable AWS-based infrastructure.
• Lead migration of on-prem to cloud-native serverless architecture.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments.
• Provision and manage cloud resources with Terraform.
• Develop internal tools and drive platform engineering initiatives.
• Set up monitoring and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams.
• Maintain up-to-date infrastructure documentation and mentor juniors.
