Job summary

Optomi is seeking a Cloud Engineer I to support cloud platforms with a focus on troubleshooting, automation, monitoring, and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will have AWS, Terraform, and scripting experience, with exposure to cloud networking and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities include Level 1 support, monitoring, automation development, and assisting deployments in an agile environment. Candidates should be familiar with Linux, IaC, containers, and IAM principles.

Qualifications

• Scripting experience, preferably Python.
• AWS and Terraform experience.
• Cloud infrastructure, AWS networking, and automation experience.
• Knowledge of Go/Golang and cybersecurity best practices.
• Familiarity with Linux, Infrastructure as Code, containers, or IAM.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 cloud platform support and troubleshooting.
• Monitor system health, alerts, backups, and routine maintenance.
• Develop scripts and automation to improve cloud infrastructure.
• Support deployments, updates, patching, and onboarding.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and software issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams in an agile environment.
