Optibrium, a Cambridge-based technology company, is seeking a DevOps/Cloud Engineer to maintain and extend our AWS cloud infrastructure and the products it supports. You will minimize downtime, ensure data-recovery protocols are current, and keep cloud services patched to defend against cyber threats.

You will collaborate with the security group to keep IS27001-aligned policies up to date, mentor the team, and promote DevOps best practices across the wider organisation.

Qualifikationen

• Experience managing AWS-based cloud infrastructure and services.
• Proficiency in Python development and automation.
• Familiar with CI/CD concepts and tooling.
• Experience with IAM, SSO and OAuth.
• Understanding of security best practices and disaster recovery.

Aufgaben

• Maintain and extend our AWS cloud based infrastructure and the products and services it supports efficiently and effectively.
• Minimise any downtime and ensure cloud based data-recovery protocols are up-to-date and working effectively.
• Ensure all cloud infrastructure, products and services are fully patched/updated to defend against data loss/exfiltration.
• Ensure disaster recovery plan is up-to-date and reviewed.
• Coordinate with the security working group to ensure policies and procedures relating to the cloud infrastructure remain IS27001-aligned.
• Mentor and develop members of the team.
• Work with the wider organisation to instill devops best practises amongst the wider organisation.
