Job summary

UST is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Cloud Platform Engineering team in Chicago. You’ll design and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS, build and secure CI/CD pipelines, and establish standards across product teams.

The role emphasizes code-first thinking and DevSecOps integration across the SDLC. You will collaborate with software and DevSecOps engineers to deliver reusable frameworks and secure deployments, including cross-account patterns, IAM least-privilege, and

Qualifications

• Experience building cloud-native solutions on AWS.
• Ability to implement CI/CD with CodePipeline/CodeBuild and secure pipelines.
• Understanding of CDK, CloudFormation, and cross-account deployments.
• Familiarity with security scanning and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into scalable cloud-native solutions on AWS.
• Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines with AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild and DevSecOps.
• Define cloud standards, guardrails, and best practices across product teams.
• Collaborate with software and DevSecOps engineers as the technical bridge across disciplines.
