Job summary

UNAVAILABLE is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join the growing DevSecOps practice. The role focuses on cloud and application development, building automation, and secure release processes.

You will automate, test, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, and mentor teammates in DevSecOps best practices. Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in cloud platforms and DevSecOps, with containerization, IaC, and strong collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• 1+ relevant technical certification.
• 5+ years DevSecOps experience in Agile environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and orchestration tools.
• Experience implementing infrastructure as code and automation.
• Proficiency with containerization and Kubernetes.
• Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Establish development tools and infrastructure for automation
• Understand stakeholder needs and convey to developers
• Automate and improve development, testing, deployment, and release processes
• Test and examine code written by others and analyze results
• Ensure systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Identify technical problems, perform root cause analysis, and develop fixes
• Work with developers to ensure processes follow established practices
• Support enterprise Cloud apps via infrastructure as code and large-scale deployments
• Document as-is state, perform gap analysis, and produce options
• Leverage virtualization and containerization to modernize software systems
• Mentor team members and present status updates
