Job summary

UST is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Platform Engineering team in Norfolk, VA. You will bridge code-first development with cloud infrastructure, shaping scalable AWS-based solutions and reusable DevSecOps frameworks for product teams.

You will own and evolve CI/CD pipelines with CodePipeline/CodeBuild, design ECS/Fargate deployments, and enforce security controls across the SDLC. A hands-on, collaborative engineer comfortable with multi-account deployments will thrive here.

Qualifications

Able to read, write, and troubleshoot CloudFormation templates.
Experience with CDK constructs and multi-stage deployments.
Familiar with IAM least-privilege design and secrets management.
Hands-on with Docker, ECS, and Fargate.
Experience with ECR repositories and artifact management.

Responsibilities

Translate complex requirements into scalable cloud-native solutions on AWS.
Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines using CodePipeline and CodeBuild with DevSecOps.
Design and maintain container build and deployment pipelines (Docker, ECR, ECS, Fargate).
Define and enforce cloud engineering standards and guardrails across teams.
