Job summary

Enlighten is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced development team. The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge in Kubernetes and Container Orchestration, Configuration Management, CI/CD, Automation, AWS, Linux systems administration, Scripting in Bash and Programming in Python, and a background in Big Data solutions.

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing infrastructure, automating deployment processes, and ensuring the monitoring,

Qualifications

• DoD 8140/8570 compliance certifications (e.g. Security+) is required.
• 9+ years in DevOps Engineering or Software Development with related degree, or 7+ years with a Masters.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (EKS, EC2, S3) and infrastructure management.
• Experience with container deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
• Ability to develop in Python, Bash, or Go.

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS (EKS) and on-premise infrastructure.
• Automate deployment processes and ensure reliability and scalability of services.
• Manage Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into infrastructure.
• Monitor production systems and troubleshoot issues.
• Stay current with new technologies and industry trends.
