Job summary

Enlighten, a leader in big data solutions, seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced team in Hanover, MD. The role emphasizes Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, and automation to ensure scalable, reliable infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

The ideal candidate will have strong scripting (Python/Bash), Linux administration, and security clearance readiness. The position supports a rotating onsite schedule in Hanover and Columbia, MD with occasional remote work flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required or equivalent experience.
• Master's degree is a plus for advanced roles.
• 12+ years combined experience across DevOps/Software Development may be considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Support the deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS, especially EKS.
• Automate deployment processes and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into the operational infrastructure.
• Monitor production systems and troubleshoot to maintain high availability.
• Continuously improve processes and tools to optimize performance.
• Stay current with new technologies and industry trends.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
