Zusammenfassung

ClearGov is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to strengthen the reliability, scalability, and security of our AWS cloud infrastructure while optimizing costs and enabling developer self-service. You will align with product engineering teams to design robust architectures, implement automation, and improve observability across our SaaS platform.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, platform, or infrastructure engineering with solution architecture exposure.
• Deep AWS expertise with familiarity of Azure and Google Cloud.
• IaC experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid FinOps and cloud-cost optimization knowledge.
• Observability experience with Datadog (or equivalent) and incident response.
• Container tech experience (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
• Scripting in Python or Bash.
• AI-enabled DevOps workflows experience.
• Security fundamentals (IAM, secrets management, vulnerability remediation).
• Strong cross-functional communication and mentoring abilities.

Aufgaben

• Own Cloud Infrastructure Design and Operations across AWS (with exposure to Azure/Google Cloud) for a SaaS org of ~80 engineers.
• Drive Cost Visibility and FinOps practices across cloud platforms.
• Improve reliability, observability, and incident response; participate in on-call rotations.
• Develop and maintain IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
• Enable developer self-service with tooling and paved paths.
• Apply AI-enabled DevOps practices with security guardrails.
• Support platform/vendor evaluations and integrations (AWS, Datadog, Databricks).
• Mentor engineers and contribute to runbooks and standards.
