Job summary

Ryan in San Francisco seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to design and maintain a fully automated CI/CD ecosystem, an Internal Developer Portal (IDP), and secure cloud networking across AWS, Azure, and on‑premises. This role blends software development with platform engineering to help engineering teams build, test, and deploy faster and more reliably.

You will implement Terraform modules, self‑service tooling, and integrated CI/CD pipelines, while improving observability and security.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, DevOps, cloud or platform engineering.
• Progression from software development to cloud infrastructure and automation.
• 6+ years using CI/CD tools (Harness, CloudBees, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Deep Java and/or Node.js experience; strong AWS/Azure knowledge.
• Terraform and IaC expertise; scalable cloud-native design.
• Secure software delivery and Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Champion an automation-first DevOps culture and collaboration across teams.
• Architect and implement an Internal Developer Portal for self-service infra.
• Design and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for Java, .NET, Node.js apps.
• Build standardized deployment workflows across AWS/Azure environments.
• Implement testing, security scanning, and quality gates in pipelines.
