Job summary

EKN Engineering in Irvine, California seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and support scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for our SaaS solutions.

You'll work with Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS, and IaC tooling to drive reliability, security, and efficiency across product teams, while triaging outages and optimizing deployment processes. This hands-on role emphasizes collaboration, coding, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps or SRE experience, supporting production workloads in AWS.
• Strong experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Solid knowledge of core AWS services and security-focused operations.

Responsibilities

• Influence the development and architecture of the DevOps platform with technical leadership.
• Design, implement, test, deploy, and support SaaS solutions in scalable cloud environments.
• Drive CI/CD pipelines, IaC, logging, monitoring, and automation best practices.
• Respond to outages, performance issues, and pipeline failures; participate in on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with software teams to identify and implement cloud-based solutions.
