Job summary

Early Warning is seeking a Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to design and maintain infrastructure as code, CI/CD patterns, and containerized product applications. You will provide technical leadership and hands-on support across internal systems from a hybrid, multi-city setup.

Responsibilities include building and refining configurations, documenting best practices, and collaborating with teams to ensure secure, scalable cloud deployments using Terraform, Ansible, Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent certifications.
• 5+ years in DevOps, software engineering or related field.
• Experience with Linux administration and scripting.
• Proven ability to work across multiple projects.
• Experience in modern app design patterns.
• Knowledge of cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible and Kubernetes.
• On-call rotation availability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, test and debug new and existing infrastructure as code and configuration management patterns.
• Lead and implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure automated deployment.
• Design, create and maintain policies and technical documentation for system configurations.
• Analyze requirements and model infrastructure and application flow.
• Diagnose hardware and OS issues and optimize performance of environments.
• Mentor staff on team policies and best practices.
