Job summary

EKN Engineering in Irvine, California is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to architect, implement, test, deploy, and support SaaS solutions. You will design scalable cloud infrastructure, implement CI/CD, IaC, logging, monitoring, and automation while collaborating with product teams to meet customer requirements.

You'll drive best practices, stay current with cloud technologies, and help keep systems secure and efficient through hands-on contributions and guidance to engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering experience with production workloads in AWS.
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, SQS, SNS, Lambda).
• Proven experience with containers, orchestration, and deployment technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD).
• Experience building and improving CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of Git-based workflows and version control best practices.

Responsibilities

• Influence the development and architecture of the DevOps platform; provide technical leadership to development teams.
• Assess risks affecting team goals and document best practices for deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
• Partner with software teams to implement optimal cloud-based solutions; ensure security and quality standards.
