Job summary

Securiport LLC, a US company based in Reston, VA, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Release and DevOps team. You will help automate software delivery and infrastructure management, collaborating with software engineers, QA, and Operations to ensure high availability and scalable systems.

The role focuses on designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing AWS and Azure resources with IaC, and applying DevSecOps practices to secure and streamline releases.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS/Azure cloud platforms and infra management.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools and containerization (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD; Docker; Kubernetes).
• Strong scripting in Bash and Python for automation.
• IaC experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Observability stacks: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK.
• Git version control and branching strategies.
• Windows Server, Active Directory, IIS; PowerShell automation.
• DevSecOps practices and secrets management.
• Linux/Windows system administration, networking, DNS, load balancers.
• Strong collaboration, communication, problem-solving.
• Certifications such as AWS DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect, CK A/CKAD.
• Experience with microservices and Istio service mesh.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage AWS and Azure infrastructure using IaC.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot across environments.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and system management.
• Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of infra and apps.
• Support development teams on version control and build practices.
• Maintain configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Assist release cycles, monitor environment-related issues.
• Continuously improve system reliability and efficiency.
