Job summary

UNAVAILABLE seeks a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to advance cloud and application development. You will implement automation, IaC, and secure DevSecOps practices across multiple platforms.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of cloud, DevSecOps, and Agile development experience, with strong collaboration skills and security-first mindset. U.S. government clearance is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance.
• BS Degree in an IT field OR BS in a non-IT field with 2 years related IT experience.
• At least 1 relevant technical certification.
• 5 years of cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• 5 years with Git SCM providers (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
• 5 years with programming or scripting languages.
• 5 years DevSecOps experience in an Agile environment.
• 3 years Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• 5 years IaC and orchestration experience.
• 5 years building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Pipelines).
• 5 years integrating DevSecOps tooling and orchestration.
• Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Establish development tools and automation infrastructure.
• Understand stakeholder needs and translate to developers.
• Automate and improve build, test, deploy, and release processes.
• Review and analyze code and results for quality and security.
• Ensure systems are secure against cybersecurity threats.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement fixes.
• Collaborate with developers to enforce established processes.
• Support enterprise cloud apps via infrastructure as code and large deployments.
• Document current state, perform gap analyses, and recommend options.
• Leverage virtualization and containers to modernize systems.
• Mentor team members and contribute as an individual contributor.
• Present status updates and cross-train DevOps peers.
