Job summary

Akaasa Technologies seeks a senior cloud engineer to partner with architects and application teams to design secure, scalable cloud solutions. You will automate provisioning with Terraform and cloud APIs, ensure uptime with SRE practices, and guide CI/CD practices across multiple public clouds.

The role emphasizes automation, security, and collaboration with development teams to deliver resilient cloud-based applications and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Typically a minimum of ten years of IT experience in IT Applications Development and/or IT Infrastructure QA.
• Applicable certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partners with architects and development teams to evaluate new cloud services, features, and enhancements.
• Determines secure patterns and configurations for cloud services.
• Writes code, scripts, and templates to automate provisioning and de-provisioning using Terraform and cloud APIs.
• Ensures the security of cloud infrastructure.
• Uses SRE principles to ensure availability and resilience of cloud-hosted applications.
• Provides technical consulting to application teams using public clouds.
• Manages public cloud environments and enhances CI/CD pipelines.
• Manages cloud development tools including CI/CD orchestration, repos, artifact stores, code quality tools.
