Job summary

ADP is seeking a senior DevOps/Lead SRE to design, build, and maintain cloud-based solutions on AWS/Azure, focusing on reliability, scalability, and security.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, drive automation with Terraform, Jenkins, Helm, and Kubernetes, and mentor engineers while promoting resilient designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 10+ years in a Lead DevOps, Lead SRE, or similar role.
• Experience building fully automated, highly elastic cloud‑orchestrated platforms on AWS or Azure.
• Hands‑on experience with Cloud (AWS, EKS), Containerization (K8S), Orchestration (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Helm), Clustering, and CI/CD tools at enterprise scale.
• Expertise in scripting languages such as Python.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools like Dynatrace and Splunk.
• Certifications in AWS/Cloud & K8S/Containers are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide hands‑on solutions across multiple products and teams to accelerate feature delivery while ensuring strong security and resilient designs.
• Participate in daily scrums to coordinate responsibilities, identify issues, and set coding priorities.
• Act as the point person for developers and operations, presenting solutions and system designs to leadership.
• Design and extend existing DevOps and CI/CD tools to help products reach market faster with automation.
• Support engineers by diagnosing issues, writing code to fix them, and quickly adapting to changing product needs.
• Apply new technologies, deliver solutions, and iterate using a ‘fail fast, fail safe’ approach.
