Job summary

Sorenson Communications is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, automate, and operate scalable, secure cloud infrastructure and delivery platforms. The role emphasizes hands-on ownership of automation, IaC, and security-focused delivery using AWS, Terraform, and modern CI/CD pipelines.

The ideal candidate brings strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash), Terraform and AWS CloudFormation expertise, and collaboration with Cloud Eng, SRE, Security, and IT teams

Qualifications

• 8 years of DevOps experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, define, and implement pipelines to deploy infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Create full software deployment pipelines with development teams.
• Create automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, Bash.
• Create IaC scripts with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Support code versioning with Git.
• Create repeatable configurations with Ansible.
• Migrate On-Prem workloads to public cloud securely and reliably.
• Implement enterprise monitoring and alerting across systems.
• Coordinate with Security to manage cloud security policies.
• Provide rotational on-call support and mentoring to teammates.
