Job summary

ICF is seeking a senior DevOps Engineer to design and operate cloud infrastructure in AWS using infrastructure as code and Terraform. You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and collaborate with security, networking, and software teams.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience, Terraform expertise, and the ability to obtain a Federal Public Trust clearance. Occasional travel (~5%) and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years setting up CI/CD pipelines with open-source plugins.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with configuration management, cloud orchestration and automation tools in AWS.
• 5+ years provisioning and managing infrastructure and applications in AWS.
• 2+ years of automation for CI/CD.
• 5+ years writing infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust clearance.
• Must reside in the United States and be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Implement cloud-based solutions in AWS using infrastructure as code.
• Deploy, setup, and run infrastructure configurations for AWS services using Terraform.
• Engage with technical stakeholders across development, networking, security, IAM, and risk.
• Enable and optimize automation of application and infrastructure environments.
• Collaborate to build cloud infrastructure with AMI, containers, and serverless functions.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines across development, integration and production.
• Set up, integrate, and maintain a scalable CI/CD toolset for testing and security scans.
• Implement CloudWatch, Splunk and other monitoring solutions for real-time metrics.
• Translate business requirements into technical operational requirements for CI/CD pipelines.
• Make an impact as part of a small, boundary-pushing team.
