Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years in a Linux-based DevOps or software development environment.
• Hands-on experience building, supporting, or administering DevOps tooling and automation technologies.
• Experience with AWS CDK, EC2, S3, ECS, VPC, and TypeScript.
• Experience designing, building, and supporting CI/CD and SDLC deployment automation.
• Experience operating in public and/or private cloud environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with minimal oversight.
• Ability to work with urgency during incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reusable, high-quality code for DevOps tooling and SDLC deployment pipelines across private and public cloud environments.
• Build deep expertise in team-supported platforms and technologies, troubleshoot issues, improve reliability, and drive enhancements.
• Drive automation to accelerate delivery, reduce manual effort, and simplify operational processes.
• Provide operational support for internal and external software products, improving availability, reliability, and speed to market.
• Identify emerging technologies and practices to improve reliability, efficiency, and service delivery.
• Anticipate risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect operations.
• Contribute to business cases for tooling and platform changes, articulating cost and risk impacts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to refine backlogs and plan development work.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members and stay current with new tech.
