Job summary

Programming.com in Ohio seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to build and operate production cloud infrastructure on AWS and help teams ship faster and more reliably.

You will own CI/CD pipelines, implement IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, and enhance observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.

You collaborate across software, platform, and infra teams to resolve complex production issues and drive reliability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or SRE.
• Hands-on experience building and operating production workloads on AWS.
• Strong CI/CD, release automation, and IaC experience (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Observability across metrics, logs, and tracing (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Datadog).
• Solid fundamentals in networking, DNS, certificates, IAM, secrets management, and Linux.
• Proven ability to diagnose complex production issues and drive them to resolution.
• Strong ownership and collaboration across software, platform, and infrastructure teams.
