Job summary

Innova Solutions seeks a seasoned DevOps specialist to lead the modernization of CI/CD pipelines and release orchestration. You will define standards, automate deployments across Java/.NET/Python apps and container platforms, and collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams.

Hybrid work in Charlotte, NC; 60–65 USD per hour, with W-2 engagement. Strong emphasis on security, governance, and scalable pipelines across WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, IIS, and cloud-native environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on DevOps experience required.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines across environments.
• Expertise in XLR release orchestration and migration.
• Strong knowledge of workflow orchestration and automation best practices.
• Proficiency in Groovy, YAML, shell scripting and Python.
• Familiarity with branching strategies and PR workflows.
• Experience with artifact repositories, secrets management, and environmental promotion.
• Experience with Ansible for infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot.
• Experience supporting enterprise apps (Java/.NET/Python) across WebSphere/JBoss/Tomcat/IIS and modern containers.
• Troubleshoot deployment and platform issues; monitor with Splunk/Dynatrace.

Responsibilities

• Establish CI/CD standards including workflows, naming, and approvals.
• Ensure pipelines meet security, testing, and artifact management policies.
• Implement deployment pipelines in Harness for multi-environment delivery.
• Standardize branching, PR, release, and promotion workflows.
• Integrate pipelines with security scans, testing, and artifact repos.
• Troubleshoot end-to-end pipeline, package, and deployment issues.
• Automate build, deployment, rollback, and release validation.
• Improve pipeline reliability, governance, and developer self-service.
• Capacity planning and cross-team collaboration.
• Support modernization of deployment pipelines across Java/.NET/Python apps and container platforms.
