Job summary

Innova Solutions in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a DevOps Automation Engineer for a 24-month contract. You will maintain Ruby, Perl, and Bash automation, develop Python tooling, and manage enterprise CI/CD pipelines across OpenShift/Kubernetes environments.

The ideal candidate has DevOps experience, strong Ruby/Python/Java/Perl skills, and familiarity with orchestration tools like Orchestra, Harness, UCD, Artifactory, SonarCube, and GitHub CoPilot. Hybrid onsite work arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• DevOps experience across automation and deployment workflows.
• Proficient in Ruby, Python, Java and Perl scripts.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tooling.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and container orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and modernize automation scripts (Ruby/RubyGems, Perl, Bash).
• Develop Python-based solutions and CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage multiple CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure config and deployment automation.
• Lead release management with tools like Orchestra, Harness, UCD, Artifactory, and Ansible.
• Collaborate with LDAP engineers to design deployment automation.
• Develop Ansible playbooks for cross-endpoint deployments.
• Deploy containerized offerings with Kubernetes on IBM OpenShift.
• Support and automate system compliance and guide junior team members.
