Hybrid Every other week onsite/5 days in Westlake, TX
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to support software delivery pipelines with an emphasis on CI/CD oversight, automation, cross-team release management, and security for tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions. The ideal professional is hands-on, communicates well, and self-directs while collaborating across multiple development teams in the enterprise financial domain.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis. For our W2 consultants, we offer a benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $55.00 to $65.00/hr. W2
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment
- Implement infrastructure-as-code solutions
- Manage and optimize cloud environments
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Build security telemetry and alerting with SIEM/SOAR tools
- Collaborate with development teams for smooth software integration and delivery
- Implement security best practices in deployment and infrastructure
- Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reliability
- Maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and standards
Experience Requirements
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Artifactory, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (DataDog, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and security principles
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible)
- Cloud environment management (AWS Native Services, Serverless Technologies)
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS), or CISSP are a plus
