Innova Solutions seeks a DevOps Automation Engineer for a 24-month contract in Minneapolis, MN. Hybrid work—3 days onsite, 2 days remote per week—focus on automation, scripting, and CI/CD pipelines. You will modernize Ruby/Python/Perl scripts and manage enterprise deployment processes.

Ideal candidates bring DevOps experience, strong scripting in Ruby/Python/Java/Perl, and hands-on CI/CD tool proficiency, plus Kubernetes/OpenShift in cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Proven DevOps experience.
• Development experience in Ruby, Python, Java, and Perl.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Orchestra, Harness, UCD, Artifactory, SonarCube, and GitHub CoPilot.
• Cloud/Kubernetes/Containers experience on IBM OpenShift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and modernize Ruby/RubyGems, Perl and Bash scripts for automation of Directory service configuration and deployment.
• Develop engineering solutions in Python and implement via enterprise pipelines.
• Manage multiple CI/CD pipelines that support our infrastructure configuration, deployment automation, maintenance scripts and custom code.
• Collaborate with LDAP engineers to design and develop deployment automation capabilities for manual operational process and new business requirements.
• Develop Ansible playbooks to orchestrate deployments across various end points.
• Implement containerized product offerings with Kubernetes for deployment to Cloud (IBM Openshift).
• Utilize DevOps practices including CI/CD, automation, infrastructure orchestration, and cloud service delivery.
• Support and automate system compliance with federal compliance frameworks.
• Lead new projects and initiatives, driving them to completion within required deadlines.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to junior team members.
• Troubleshoot issues across the entire application stack.
