Job summary

Venatôre is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to strengthen software delivery through automation, CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and observability. This full-time role is based in Springfield, VA or St.

Louis, MO and must be performed onsite at the client location within a SCIF; candidates must have a current TS/SCI clearance and be willing to obtain a CI Polygraph. The role involves CI/CD, IaC, OpenShift/Kubernetes, security compliance, and advanced software engineering across development, staging, and

Qualifications

• Current TS/SCI security clearance.
• Willingness and ability to obtain CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/SE or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 6+ years of directly related professional experience.
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab/Jenkins/CircleCI).
• Experience with ArgoCD and GitOps-style operations.
• Knowledge of zero-trust identities (OIDC/OAuth).
• Experience with DNS, certificate management, and load balancing.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple web applications.
• Automate builds and deployments; implement automated testing and security scanning.
• Develop and maintain IaC and configuration management (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
• Author Helm charts for OpenShift environments; manage multi-environment configs.
• Support security, observability, monitoring, and incident response in containerized environments.
• Develop system architecture diagrams and documentation; collaborate with engineering teams.
