Job summary

Venatôre is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support a three‑year government contract onsite in Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO. You will strengthen CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and security in a classified SCIF environment, bridging development and operations with ArgoCD, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.

You will implement zero‑trust identity, manage cloud resources (AWS), and contribute to architecture and automation across enterprises. Onsite requirement; 40 hrs/week.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required; CI/CD and security in classified environments.
• Degree in CS/CE/Systems Engineering or related field with substitution option.
• Experience designing and implementing complex systems in classified environments.
• Proficiency with Linux and CI/CD toolchains (GitLab/Jenkins/CircleCI).
• Knowledge of zero-trust identity implementations (OIDC/OAuth).

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines across multiple web applications.
• Build applications using source control, dependencies, and build tooling.
• Implement automated testing, vulnerability scans, and security validation.
• Deploy across development, staging, and production environments.
• Support GitOps-based operations with ArgoCD.
• Develop Helm charts for OpenShift/Kubernetes deployments.
• Maintain IaC and configuration management solutions.
• Research and design enterprise cloud solutions for classified environments.
• Manage network services (DNS, certificates, load balancing) and security configurations.
• Create system architecture diagrams and support security of databases and apps.
