Job summary

Venatôre is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support a three-year government contract in Fort Belvoir, VA. This full-time onsite role focuses on strengthening CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and operational discipline for secure enterprise systems in a classified environment.

You will optimize deployment pipelines, enhance observability, and integrate security validations across development, staging, and production environments, bridging development and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required; CI Poly preferred.
• Minimum six years of directly related professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field; two more years may substitute for the degree.
• Experience designing and implementing complex systems in classified environments.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines for multiple web applications.
• Perform builds using source code, dependencies, and required tooling.
• Implement automated testing, vulnerability scanning, and security validation in delivery workflows.
• Deploy applications across development, staging, and production environments.
• Support GitOps deployment and operations using ArgoCD or similar tools.
• Develop and maintain Helm charts for OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.
• Improve deployment consistency and recoverability across environments.
• Develop IaC and configuration management solutions.
• Research and design enterprise cloud solutions and environments.
• Support system/network configuration and sustainment.
• Develop strategic system architecture plans for complex environments.
