Job summary

Ryan is seeking a senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to design and implement a fully automated CI/CD ecosystem, Internal Developer Portal, and secure cloud networking across AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments.

You will combine software development with cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform engineering to help engineering teams build, test, and deploy software faster and more reliably, while advancing scalable cloud network architecture and self-service tooling.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive software engineering/DevOps experience.
• 6+ years hands-on with CI/CD tools (Harness, CloudBees, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Deep development experience in Java and/or Node.js.
• Strong scripting: Python, PowerShell, Bash or similar.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure including networking & serverless.
• Advanced Terraform/IaC experience.
• Experience building scalable cloud-native architectures.
• Knowledge of Windows Server & SQL Server incl. Availability Groups.
• Experience with Docker & Kubernetes.
• Experience with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of secure software delivery and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience leading technical evaluations and PoC initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Champion a DevOps culture with automation-first mindset and collaboration.
• Partner with development teams to improve reliability, performance, and deployment practices.
• Architect and implement an Internal Developer Portal (IDP) for self-service infra and deployment workflows.
• Integrate IDP with CI/CD, cloud infra, identity management, and observability.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for Java, .NET, and Node.js apps.
• Build reusable pipeline templates and libraries; optimize deployment performance and observability.
• Design and manage AWS/Azure infrastructure using IaC (Terraform).
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies for infra and apps.
• Lead PoC initiatives for new tools and automation processes.
