Job summary

Tanium is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, DevOps to design and manage systems, tools, and infrastructure enabling the engineering org to deliver code rapidly, safely, and reliably. The role follows a hybrid schedule requiring three days per week in Reston, VA or other listed offices.

You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deploy cloud-native apps, and partner with security teams to remediate vulnerabilities while promoting robust monitoring and automation across Tanium's infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development, DevOps, or SRE.
• 3+ years IaC with Pulumi or Terraform.
• 3+ years Docker/Kubernetes in production.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience with Linux environments.
• Security-minded and incident response oriented.
• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to develop next-gen CI/CD pipelines for Tanium products.
• Support and deploy CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
• Deploy and maintain cloud-native microservices infrastructure.
• Collaborate with security teams to build tools identifying vulnerabilities and remediation steps.
• Design systems to monitor critical infrastructure and plan for future needs.
• Improve deployment quality and velocity through automation.
• Plan and execute major infra improvements and upgrades.
