Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC. is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join a fast-paced team. You will manage cloud infrastructure on AWS with EKS, automate deployments, and ensure reliability and scalability of services in a hybrid work model.

The role requires strong Kubernetes, scripting in Python/Bash, and experience with Terraform/Ansible. Candidates must be able to obtain DoD security certifications and work in a hybrid environment in Maryland or on customer site as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps or Software Development experience with a related degree.
• DoD 8140/8570 certs (Security+) or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud deployments (AWS).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS (EKS) and Kubernetes clusters.
• Automate deployments with CI/CD pipelines for reliable, scalable services.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate apps into operations.
• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure high availability.
• Improve tooling and processes for better performance and efficiency.
• Stay current with new technologies and industry trends to enhance infrastructure.
